Saturday, April 26th, 2008 Civil Informationing in Chilliwack, B.C. Six members of Fraser Valley 9/11 Truth were on hand in Chilliwack on this day from 2 pm until 6 pm and set up at the Five Corners intersection in the centre of town, and were later joined by 3 more. We met up at the adjacent parking lot. On our way there, we noted that there was another information booth set up near the corner. It belonged to the RCMP Citizen's Patrol. We also discovered the Canadian Armed Forces had an event just up the street. We found this to be a bonus! See intro video: WE WANT TO REPORT A CRIME Direct Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wRzeXWPAYFM As we approached the "Five Corners", a member of the Citizen's Patrol saw us and immediately approached us, handing us brochures and asking if we would might like to volunteer too. We took their info and then explained that we were very interested in crime and justice, and doing a citizen's patrol of sorts ourselves and were particularly interested in having the murders of 24 Canadians on 9/11 investigated. They seemed somewhat perplexed, but after we set up our table and got our DVDs etc ready, I went over and gave them some of our flyers and a few DVDs and a few general problems with the official story. One of our members also went up the street to the Armed Forces display and spoke to them for a while and gave out a few DVDs. He encountered no problems.  Once we were set up, we garnered interest almost immediately, while our friends from the other citizen's patrol looked, unfortunately, like the "Maytag Repairmen" and seemed to not get any interest from passersby. About an hour later, they packed up and departed. Even a street person named Bernie joined us and asked what we were up too. We told him and he too agreed there was something really fishy about 9/11. We gave him a T-Shirt and food, and he hung out with us for several hours, enjoying our 9/11 Truth music and the great conversations we were having.  In all, we gave out about 70 DVDs and loads of fliers. As usual, many of the passing motorists honked their horns or gave us a thumbs up. A number them doubled back to get a DVD. Many who stopped by were of the local First Nations population and they were also very suspicious about what happened on 9/11 and the intent of the US and Canadian governments in Afghanistan and Iraq. There were perhaps 2 or 3 motorists in total (of the thousands who passed by) that gave us the finger or shook their heads. We just laughed.  Later, we all went over to Terry's place where he and his wife put on a great BBQ dinner for us and we got to socialize, get to know eachother better and discuss various aspects of 9/11 and the War on Terror, as well as our own journies on this path. It was a great day for Truth indeed, and a great day for us all - for ourselves, for freedom, our country, and for those complete strangers whom we met who thanked us for providing this service. Seriously folks, if you are still fearful or are unconvinced that this type of activism is helpful, you have no idea what you are missing! Fraser Valley 9/11 Truth took to the streets of Maple Ridge on Friday with Marina and Wayne present from 3 pm until 6 pm during Rush Hour at our usual spot, at the corner of 224th St and Dewdney. Then, on Saturday Terry, John, Marilyn, Wayne and Marina were out from 2 pm until 7 pm.  We had a new portable table and several new signs, and a new digital camera (still no video camera, sorry). Terry brought a number of 9/11 books, including the 9/11 Commission Report to help demonstrate the inconsistancies, cover ups, obfuscation and lies that have been widely perpetuated. All went extremely well and totally civil. In two days, ony 2 people flipped us the bird, while many honked horns, waved and cheered us on as the drove by. Many passersby took over 100 DVDs and a bunch of 9/11 music CDs, as well as virtually all of our printed literture and Deception Dollars. We had some very interesting conversations with people who already knew much about 9/11. One young man named Steve who came by with two school friends (all are grade 12 students) expressed interest in joining us. He has been doing 9/11 Truth research and activism on his own for a while and was delighted to find us, and to receive some validation for what he has been telling his friends. We received no complaints or disparaging words from anyone passing by. We noticed a good spike of hits on our website, and several new sign-ups for our newsletter.  Of the many police cruisers that passed by, we noticed that all of the officers looked straight ahead and would not acknowledge our presence there, as if under orders to ignore us and pretend we weren't there. A number of fire trucks also passed by giving us no reaction whatsoever. We would like the RCMP, members of the local Fire Department and the Ambulance Service of B.C. to know that we are seeking Truth and Justice for 9/11 victims, many of whom were your brothers and sisters with the NYPD and NYFD, as well as paramedics. The official explanations for the murder of nearly 3000 people (including 24 Canadians) on September 11th, 2001 are totally inadequate. The physical evidence, the science, and the many eye witnesses (Including many First Responders) tell a completely different story than what we were led to believe, and point to complicity by the government, the property owner, city officials, and others, and a massive cover up. The families of the victims and many survivors have called the 9/11 Commission report a farce and have been asking for a new, fair and impartial investigation into 9/11, as are many scholars, academics, engineers, architects, military and commercial pilots, air-traffic controllers, ex-military personnel, former high level CIA Officers, FBI Agents, former governemt insiders including numerous former Defence Ministers, and tens of millions of citizens world wide. We hope that you too will take a good look at the evidence, not only for the sake of those who died, but also because we hope that disclosure of all of the relelvant facts will help to prevent such a fate for you or others in your position.  We are out on the streets voluntarily, civilly and peacefully, as a public service, because we care about Truth and Justice. No one should fear us nor fear full disclosure of the facts, except those who have something to hide, or something to gain from the illegal War on Terror, at the expence of 3000 innocent 9/11 victims. So, if you are hearing negative reports and propaganda about us, please consider the source!  We invite you, members of the RCMP, Firefighters and First Responders to stop by and talk to us anytime when you see us on the street. You will find that we are not anti-police, not anti-military nor anti-government, and not radicals. We are concerned citizens doing what we feel is our civic duty (as the media has failed ask the important questions or to connect the dots) for the sake of the victims, for our loved ones, future generations, our country and the world. We all have a right to Truth and Justice, to Peace, our Rights and Freedoms, to real Security and Freedom from tyranny by rogue regimes, agencies, and corporate elite fascists. Lots of cars drove by and quite a few drove around the block several times to check us out, and then stopped for free DVDs etc. We received lots of honks, smiles and thumbs up from passing motorists too. No negatives at all! One gentlemen was skeptical as he sat near by drinking coffee at the Cafe. He did take some literature and a fact sheet though and allowed me to show him a portion of 9/11 Mysteries. He was not convinced but was at least willing to take a reluctant look, and perhaps he will give it some thought and research it more, and that is all we can hope for. We have done our job. Marina has been looking into 9/11 for over a year after a friend spoke to her about it. She was stunned at first and thought it was outrageous not to believe the official story, but did eventually look into it more and then attended the William Rodriguez event in Vancouver last year, and became convinced that there were indeed many unanswered questions and many facts which totally contradict the official story. She saw us on the streets a few weeks ago, signed up for our newsletter and decided to take the plunge today after meeting with us for coffee. She had never done this type of thing before. Marina didn't talk a lot, and was nervous and shy, but she grew more comfortable very quickly when she saw no one was laughing and pointing fingers, nor throwing insults or anything else in our direction. She grabbed a sign and held it high when cars were passing and did join in with talking to those who approached us. She had a great time and has volunteered to come out again on the 11th of April for the International Day of Action for 9/11 Truth too. As always, it was a fun and worthwhile day for us all. We hope to have more people joining our cause and doing the same in other towns around the Valley soon for a regular, peaceful, 9/11 Truth presence. The best news of the week perhaps is that my dear old mom, God bless her, at 75 years is now a 9/11Truth Activist! She had been very sceptical and scared about what I was doing for a long time, but did watch a number of documentaries and some of the presentations from the Vancouver 9/11 Truth conference last year. Then recently, after she overheard me talking to some of her friends about 9/11 (who also took DVDs), as well as hearing about how well our street action was being received, she suddenly asked me for DVDs to keep in her purse to give to people she talks to when out for walks or on the bus, AND SHE DID ! They are all gone and she wants more!! Go Mom Go! Now, we again ask locals to sign up for our newsletter or contact us if you wish to get involved. No experience necessary, just a desire to stand up for truth and justice for 9/11 victims, and to help stop a bogus war on terror. The REAL War on Terrorism starts with YOU, by letting others know what you know, and showing that you care about what is going on in YOUR world, and taking responsibility for the solution - by saying no to fear and tyranny, and standing for Truth and Justice for all. We are just providing a public service and doing our civic duty.
