Saturday, March 22nd, 2008 A few of us were out again for another Civil Information session last Saturday at 224th and Dewdney in Maple Ridge, and again were very well received while handing out many fliers, DVDs and 9/11 music CDs. We had a lot of friendly chats and no negativity whatsoever regarding 9/11 Truth, although one woman took exception with our stance on the war (bring the troops home until 9/11 is investigated or change it to strictly Peacekeeping Mission). Her brother is serving in Afghanistan, and she says (according to him) that the soldiers are happy and are doing good, and therefore it matters not why we are there. We had a cordial 5 minute debate about that but then agreed to disagree. It is a touchy subject, especially when one's loved ones are involved, and we do not like to argue with anyone who disagrees and create a negative spectacle. She did agree, however, that 9/11 should be investigated and that 9/11 victims deserve truth and justice! It was another well spent 3 hours talking to our neighbours and making new friends - and it was fun ! Sorry no new pics this time (but we have not changed much LOL). Hopefully next time we will get a better shot from across the street so that one can see just how busy this intersection is. On this corner (see previous pics) we are about 15 feet away from the busy street (Dewdney) but can be seen from 3 directions. Some drive by, see us and then pull up in the adjacent parking lot to receive flyers and DVDs. It is like a "9/11Truth Drive Through"! If you were one of the people we met, thanks for stopping by and special thanks to a gentlemen named Joseph who bought us some coffees, as he appreciated what we were doing, how we were conducting ourselves, and having the opportunity to learn something new. Civil Informationing works!! Get active and be civil! We don't have forever to get the job done, nor to do damage control after the fact (due to confrontations and rude or aggressive behaviour). We would be delighted to take this show on the road to other towns around the Valley in the near future. Let us know where you are and think about a place for us to meet and to set up a Civil Info Centre in your area. Let's just do it. Wayne Sunday, March 9th, 2008 Civil Information(ing) on the streets of Maple Ridge, BC in the heart of the Fraser Valley (east of Vancouver). Another great day of 'being the media' and talking to fellow Canadians (our neighbours) about what we have discovered about 9/11 and how it affects us, and the world. Just by being outdoors with a simple sign, a smile, with free DVDs and music CDs, we reach potentially hundreds of passersby and thousands of motorists. Below, Marilyn talks to two gentlemen who came over separately for a friendly discussion, both of whom were already very knowledgeable and who agree that we have been lied to by the mainstream media about what happened on September 11th, who was responsible and the apparent motives of the real perps. Best of all, a number of people expressed interest in getting involved with us, so we can continue to build a network of concerned citizens, to help restore our country and the world to sanity, in a peaceful, non-partisan and democratic way.
We didn't yell, rant, rave nor carry protest signs, nor solicit. People just come over and talk to us. More often than not, we discover that many already had their suspicions about 9/11 and other things being done in the name of 9/11, and a few were already well informed. We received no heckles or jeers, no negative comments - only friendly greetings, handshakes and thanks. Occasionally passing motorists honked their horns, waved or gave us the thumbs up too. We came away happy, knowing we had done something positive for the world, and constructive for our movement (nobody got arrested, tasered, tortured or even insulted). Thanks to all who stopped by to chat and to check out what we have to offer! Knowledge is empowering and the Truth sets us all free to live without lies, propaganda, fear and control. We can change the world very quickly if we all get out and do this as often as possible in many places. It will send a clear message, that no one can spin. The world will quickly see how many we are; that we are just like them, that we see the evil and the lies of 9/11 (and more), and that we are refusing to be a party to it anymore. People will begin to receive our message and the information we have gathered about 9/11, the bogus war on terror, and much more. Then we will have a chance to prevent the next 9/11 attack and WWIII, and save many millions of lives. This is the REAL war against terrorism. WE are the change that we want to see .... if we choose to be. Please join us ! Sunday, March 2nd, 2008 Aaron (from Mission) and Wayne (Maple Ridge), both of Fraser Valley 9/11 Truth took the streets in Maple Ridge, BC today. The weather was not great and had been raining most of the afternoon but eased up and eventually stopped, so we headed out. First we went to the town square (a large grass covered area between several buildings with walkways and a gazebo in the middle), where we set up our sign, turned on some 9/11 tunes and immediately a number of young people arrived to check out what we were doing. They were very under-informed about 9/11 but were keen to learn what we had to say. They were 'wowed' and took some DVDs and flyers with them. We were then interrupted by a security guard asking what we were doing. We greeted him in a friendly fashion and told him what we were having a peaceful discussion with our fellow citizens. He was was very nice but said we would have to go elsewhere as we did not have written permission for this activity in the square, which he says is in the city by-laws. There were no signs anywhere that we could see, and we asked if he had a copy of the city by-laws with him for us to see. He did not. Not wanting to make trouble for the young man, we gave him some of our material and asked him to check it when he gets off work, then we cheerfully moved on. We will check this week with city hall to see what the by-laws actually say and ask them why the rules are for use of taxpayer property by the taxpayers.  Corner of 224 St. and Dewdney in Maple Ridge Aaron and I then moved to the corner of 224th St and Dewdney (one of the busiest intersections in town) and set up shop again. We were there for nearly 2 hours, during which we had a fair number of people stopping by and inquiring, taking DVDs and literature with them. Quite a few people honked their horns in support as they drove by. Not a single person took exception with us, and it appeared that very few went out of their way to avoid us. One young lady had been to see William Rodriguez speak in Vancouver a few months, and she was surprised but happy see that there was a group now in the Valley.  Aaron has been 9/11 aware for a long time but it was first time on street. He did very well, but he is camera shy. He took this picture of me. Next Sunday we will be out in Maple Ridge again with a larger contingent, splitting up into pairs to talk to our fellow citizens in a peaceful, civil manner. We hope you can make it! After that, we will move onto other towns around the Valley. Please check your community calendars for large public events that we could attend and set up tables and 9/11 info displays, and let us know if you find something interesting. Eventually, we will have groups of individuals in each municipality starting their own local groups and having fun while doing a good, public service. Look out for us Fraser Valley ....more
