Canada Truth Day in Maple Ridge, B.C.



There were seven of us in all, including two "first timers". We had planned to be there at Noon but started later than expected due to some logistical problems in getting our materials, but we got a about 4 and half hours of street action done nonetheless.



The response was very good though some thought there were more negatives than usual, which may be more attributable to that fact that there were more people out and about today than normal. We received a great many honks, thumbs up and thanks. Quite a number of locals were already very 9/11 aware but were unaware of our group, and were happy to see us there. Hopefully some of them will join up and get involved.



We gave away almost all of our Canada Truth Day flyers, lots and lots of DVDs and did very well in the donation jar. In fact our highest total so far, and as always, had no problem receiving signatures on our petetition for a new 9/11 investigation.



It was a very warm day, but the breeze made it bearable, so an excellent day all around.



Thanks to Rick and Dave for coming out with us. Dave said he was "amazed at the positive response!"



A special thanks to Marina and Bianca who helped out in getting flyers copied and ready, to Johnny for getting so many of the DVDs burned, to Darren in Vancouver for helping with burning, and to everyone else as usual with congrats on a job well done!
